Crypto exchange Bitget has become a regional partner for select MotoGP Grand Prix events in 2025, including Italy, Germany, Spain, and Indonesia.
Per the press release shared with Cryptonews, Bitget has partnered with the motorcycle road racing giant to merge high-speed racing with crypto trading. It’s now the regional partner for specific events in Europe and Southeast Asia.
Moreover, the partnership will include trackside activations, VIP experiences, and various cross-platform digital initiatives. The partners claim that, at Mugello, a race track in Scarperia e San Piero in Florence, Italy, key opinion leaders (KOLs) and media will get behind-the-scenes access to the paddock and rider interactions.
“Racing is a sport of milliseconds; crypto is a market of micro-decisions,” says Bitget CEO Gracy Chen. “This partnership is our way of showing the world that success — on the track or on the charts — comes down to smart moves and fearless execution. We’re excited to join MotoGP in putting power, precision, and potential into the hands of every user and every fan.”
Syrians, like their counterparts in other countries, can register on the platform and complete identity verification to access the full suite of services. This includes peer-to-peer (P2P) trading with local currency support, yield-generating products, spot and futures markets, and copy trading.
Additionally, they can access Bitget Earn products. These enable…
‘MotoGP and Crypto Aren’t That Different’
The email shared with Cryptonews argued that crypto is moving fast into mainstream sports. Sponsorships jumped 20% YoY to $565 million in 2025, per the Financial Times.
The Bitget-MotoGP will begin at the above-mentioned Mugello Circuit. Also, three-time MotoGP World Champion Jorge Lorenzo is at the centre of the partnership, promoting Bitget’s “Make It Count” slogan.
“The worlds of MotoGP and crypto aren’t as different as they seem,” Lorenzo says. “They both reward those who stay sharp and think fast.” “I’ve always believed that you win races not just on instinct — but by making every lap, every line, every second count. It’s the same mindset Bitget brings to trading, and I’m proud to be part of this story.”
Moreover, Bitget says it serves over 120 million users in 150 countries and regions. It has partnered with the World’s Top Football League, LALIGA, Buse Tosun Çavuşoğlu (Wrestling world champion), Samet Gümüş (Boxing gold medalist), and İlkin Aydın (Volleyball national team).
Meanwhile, Bitget recently secured regulatory approval to operate in Georgia. It allows the exchange to offer digital asset exchange and custodial wallet services.
In mid-June, it enabled the onboarding of Syrian citizens. The move came after the US Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) had suspended sanctions against Syria in May.
However, Bitget and Bybit were reportedly readying to scale back operations in Singapore after the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) had ordered all digital token service providers without a formal license to cease overseas activities.
Per the blog post, the company’s PayFi (Payment Finance) feature will include new functions, namely Pay Direct, Scan to Pay, and Tap to Pay. This, the team argues, will increase both crypto adoption and payment efficiency. Unlike services that convert crypto into fiat, this one allows crypto-native checkout from within the…
